Is back, but not forever (Open)

"No problem." Peter said, giving Gabriel one of his lopsided smiles. "And... don't hesitate to come talk to me if you need to, okay?"

"Something tells me you'll make this stay more bearable.." He grinned "And don't worry I still remember where your room is.." He patted Peters shoulder and headed out of the bathroom, feeling much better, he came back in the room and smiled, "So where were we?" He sat down on the couch next to Mohinder and folded his legs underneath himself, Small smile on his face "I actually-- do have some things in the car, just so you know, I was nervous... Wasn't really sure i wanted to stay but... I'm pretty positive i do now.."

During Gabriel's absence, Mohinder had gotten a cup of tea to calm himself down, and was sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and the tea balanced in one hand on his lap. "I think we were at 'not much has changed'?" He spared a glance for Spock, who rubbed two fingers against Mohinder's in passing on his way out to Gabriel's car to retrieve his things, not actually saying a word. Then he turned back to Gabe, "What made you change your mind?"

"He has a way of doing that." Mohinder replied, contemplative. "Wherever you want to sleep, I suppose. Peter, Spock, and I have a habit of jumping between bedrooms, but we're usually in mine or Peter's, I'd wage bets on mine tonight." He gave Gabriel a weak smile and then, slowly, reached out for his hand, laying his free hand over Gabe's.

Gabriel looked at Mohinder's hand, he smiled and looked back up to his face and nodded "If i have any nightmares I'll make sure to come crawl in bed" He half joked

"Feel free to come crawl in bed anyway." Mohinder said, rubbing his thumb over the back of Gabe's hand. "I missed you. A lot."

Gabriel took a deep breath and nodded "I missed you too..."



-Time skip-

Gabriel was laying on the couch, he was tired, but was being stubborn forcing himself to stay awake.

Spock descended the stairs quietly, stopping in the doorway to the room and staring across it at Gabriel. Peter and Mohinder were asleep, curled together so much you couldn't tell where one ended and the other began, and he wasn't tired. "You are still awake." He observed.

Gabriel looked up at Spock "Yeah... don't wanna sleep.."

"Is there anything you would find a more attractive idea than sleep?" Spock sat down on the arm of the couch.

Gabriel shifted up to a sitting position, sighing he shook his head "I'm fine... I just.. have a lot of things going threw my head right now i guess.." He rubbed his eyes and got up, pacing.

"Is there any way I might be able to help?" Spock asked, watching Gabriel pace.

Gabriel shook his head and shrugged, crossing his arms "I don't know..."

"Would any form of physical contact be comforting? Or would it have a negative effect on your mental state?" Spock moved down so he was sitting on the couch.

Sylar sighed "What am i doing here?" he rubbed his arm "I.." He couldn't form words, he was a little startled, not knowing why he was here in the first place or why he made the decision to come, he looked down "Spock wheres Nathan?-- And-- And Jim?" he looked curiously to Spock.

"Jim is on active duty, Nathan... I do not know, he walked out on us and has not come back yet. Peter did not cope well, but he is doing better. Today was one of his better days." Spock regarded him with a measure of curiosity and worry. "As for you, it is possible you are here because we promised you would be welcome, because it is a safehouse, but more likely because you still love at least some of us."

Sylar just stood quietly, staring at the floor.

Spock looked at the couch then back at him. "Sit down."

Sylar sat down, obeying, he didn't look at Spock though.

Spock reached out and took the other man's hand, flipping it palm up and gently flattening it out until he could brush his index and middle fingers over it in a kiss.

Sylar knew what that meant, he smiled a little and looked away.

Spock tilted his head a bit, questioning. "Are my actions acceptable? At times I am unsure..."

"It's fine Spock.. really.." He sighs "Do you think i could sleep with you tonight?"

"Of course, if that is what you wish. I am doubtful to whether both of us will be able to sleep on this couch, however. It is rather small for two grown males to sleep on." Spock glanced at the stairs. "I offer my bedroom, if you wish."
